On Meredith Farkas's blog (we were there today) - she put up a post of links to go along with a virtual SirsiDynix seminar she just gave about wikis. I checked the archives seminar site, and the media file isn't posted yet, but it should be in a few days. Are you all having any luck finding library wikis? I must not be looking in the right place or something, because I really haven't found that many. I'm convinced they're out there, though ...

Hi everyone - I'm back from vacation :-(
With regards to other library wikis - have you seen this list yet? It's from the LibSuccess wiki that Liz mentioned by kind of buried in the page/wiki/whatever...

I figured out how to link to the pages we create from the home page - it took me a while :-)
On the front page, go to edit page, and type in your text then type the title of the page your linking to in [brackets] You can see I added a link to the page I created about how to start your own wiki...

Who created the wiki about wikis page? Should we make that the "Front Page" I didn't see it because there wasn't a link to it on the front page.

Hi all,
I know we said we would each add a few libraries that wiki, but I was on a tear and did like a dozen. I've found some more and will add them when I feel a little more ambitious (ambition is draining from me as we speak). I tried to change the title of that page, but it gave me a scary message about how the links would no longer work and content could be lost. I thought it would be best to leave it alone for now. Anyone know how to change it?
I promise to do more later. Please, if you see wikis I missed add them, and if you think my descriptions suck, go ahead and change them as well. Thanks all!

Liz, I believe you can change it, but you just have change all references to the name of it in other places, for example, the sidebar. Links to other pagers have to be in brackets or camelcase( which I think means Capitalized words without a space in between - like CamelCase, or SideBar)...

I went ahead and changed the name of the page. I didn't even realize that I had made a mistake. "Library that wiki" - what was I thinking? :-) Laura

Hi there, this is probably really dense, sorry, but how do I set up the reference in the bibliography section? I don't see how you designate between the article name while linking it to the url. Help? I'd like to learn how.

Hi Liz - don't worry - it took me a little while to figure it out too. In the edit mode - to this - the key is a space between the url and the text you want to appear - placed inside two brackets.
[http://www.wikipedia.org Wikipedia]

I meant to say DO this - it should appear as Wikipedia as a hyperlink.
